Meet the Full Metal Burgers Team

The journey of Full Metal Burgers began in 2016 as a mobile operation loaded into and out of '92 Ford Aerostar and setting up shop in brewery parking lots. Since then, we have evolved into an established presence and community staple, with a food truck in Oceanside and a brick-and-mortar restaurant in Escondido. Our growth has been achieved with the help of our amazing team, as well as loyal customers and newcomers alike, all united in their quest for the finest burger in North County. One of Full Metal Burgers' core values is inclusivity. We take pride in providing a welcoming environment for everyone, from families and groups of friends to co-workers looking to unwind with after-work drinks. The atmosphere is enriched with the sounds of old-school classic metal vinyl, games on the screen, and engaging trivia nights.

Ben

Ben hails from the east coast and has made CA his home for the past 12 years. He founded FMB in 2016 and has been slaying dragons and slinging meat ever since. The goal is: Burger Empire. You can find Ben out in the wild at our Escondido and Oceanside locations, or some of the best breweries around North County.

David

David, a juggalo at heart, is an experienced teppanyaki chef whose background includes opening Benihana's restaurants across the US. David decided he was done with the industry, until he ran across FMB. He has excelled as General Manager, launching our Escondido and NP locations in the past year and a half.

Ryan

Ryan originally wanted a part-time job, but we're thrilled to report he has stuck with us for several years now. His incredible desire to learn and excel has made him an excellent chef and manager. Ryan is also pursuing school for computer science and is a super-cool-guy who rides a motorcycle.

Don't let the tattoos and this tough pose ^^ fool you, DJ is always cracking jokes and keeping the mood uplifted. He has taken on a leadership role in Oceanside and continues to push our OG location to be its best.

Joe

Joe has been with FMB since our earliest days of loading our mobile set-up into a Ford Aerostar. He's inspired by the Grateful Dead and Phish, and has managed to meld his passions and tolerance of heavy metal into being a key part of the team. Joe is a tag team partner to DJ in Oceanside and lovingly refers to the trailer as the Phish Tank.

Zakaria

As the latest addition to our management team, Zakaria brings a visible passion in everything he does whether it is food, music (as a drummer and guitar player) or commitment to self betterment. He has positive impact on those around him and strives for greatness.

Alan

Proud dad and family man, Alan is a self proclaimed kitchen monkey. Incredibly reliable, dilligent in his work and execution, he is an extermely talented cook and we're lucky to have him.
